Final assignment: narrative structure brainstorm
I want to display the process of the final assignment in a comprehensive format. I will first explain my idea and why I get this idea by a small article. Then I will display the final work, and introduce the process by another article in a diary format. During the introduction, I want to plug some videos and sounds of the process which I documented.
Failure prompt
First
of all, I really like this project, because I believe I can only learn
something from failure and the thinking after failure. Thanks you remind me to
do this job which I always ignored.
I think this is really a good term for me,
before this class, I have no idea about what is visual art. I don’t know there
are so many wonderful and amazing artist and articles in the world. However, I
think I fail during I watching these videos, I cannot receive all of the
information from the artist and video during watching because of the languish
problem. And also this problem makes me hard to express my idea and feeling
during the class. I want to read some books about art in future to promote my vocabulary
in the art area. It’s a really important mission for me, because I really like
go to exhibition and conversation with collaborators. And I think my favorite
project is the first assignment. I was asked to display the point of view of ant,
and I shoot a picture about my tread. That’s really funny. And I get that idea
because a joke from my friend, that taught me always working for funny(for the
art work job at least, no math here!).
If
I can have another chance, I would retry the second project. I want to plus
some interesting idea in my map, and plug some video and sound in this map.

People always attempt to express their emotion and message to others
during conversation, but we always cannot receive all information from others.
We always prefer the information we want to receive because of our
subjectivity.
When I first get these two words, I cannot figure out what’s the
connection between these two different actions. However, when I discuss with my
friend about this project and want to get some advice. I find that it’s hard to
let he understand what my idea exactly mean. In that moment, I understand the
connection between them. When you attempt to spread some message, not everyone
can receive it perfectly. I think this process of brainstorm is a long story. I
associated spreading message as soon as I get this word. And I think cutting is
an action try to avoid or ignore something. That’s why I get this idea.
In my Powerpoint file, I display my idea about the “cutting” in the
process of spreading message. Sometimes we just put the information from others
into our own view, and we receive the information in different perspectives
which is modeled by our subjective emotion and personal environment.
And the final picture is the action of cutting, and that action
happens during I try to spreading my message. However not everyone can get it,
at least my math professor not.
